SA BDS Coalition welcomes ICJ ruling on additional provisional measures citing famine and starvation 29th March 2024

International Court of Justice(ICJ) I Définition, Cases. Purpose...BRITANNICA.COM Yesterday, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that Israel is in breach of its orders. The Court imposed further binding provisional measures on the Israeli state due to the worsening situation in Gaza including famine and starvation.  As Judge Yusuf said in a separate opinion: “The alarm bell has now been sounded by the Court.  All the indicators of genocidal activities are flashing red in Gaza.” The SA BDS Coalition supports the statement of seven ICJ judges regretting that the Court did not explicitly call for a ceasefire.  Yet it is clearly implied that the highest UN court reflects the wishes of the majority of the international community for Israel to cease its bombardmen...

(कार्यक्रम- दिनांक 23 मार्च 2024 को सायंकाल 5.30 बजे स्थानीय दुर्गा नर्सरी उद्यान, उदयपुर) 93 साल पहले 23 मार्च 1931 को भगत सिंह, सुखदेव और राजगुरु को अंग्रेज सरकार ने फांसी दे दी। तीनों  देशभक्त हँसते-हँसते फाँसी के फंदे को चूमकर भारतमाता की जय, इन्कलाब जिन्दाबाद और साम्राज्यवाद मुर्दाबाद कहते हुए आजादी की बलिवेदी पर कुर्बान हो गये। दरअसल भगत सिंह एक ऐसी दुनिया का सपना देखते थे जो शोषण, अन्याय, असमानता, अंधविश्वास और अज्ञानता से मुक्त हो। उसमें समता, न्याय और भाईचारा हो।भगत सिंह का मानना था कि राजनीतिक आजादी के साथ साथ आर्थिक और सामाजिक आजादी भी जरूरी है। उनका मत था कि केवल सत्ता परिवर्तन नहीं, बल्कि व्यवस्था परिवर्तन की जरूरत है। असमानता और भेदभाव से मुक्ति जरूरी है। राष्ट्रमुक्ति का उद्देश्य जनमुक्ति है। देश के लाखों-करोड़ों गरीब, किसान, मजदूर, दलित, महिला आदि सभी कमजोर तबकों की ...
