Demand President Ramaphosa Shut Down Embassy of Genocidal Israel Now!

Cutting off diplomatic ties with Israel has already been approved by the Parliament of South Africa. Our elected representatives in Parliament voted on Tuesday 21 November, 2023, by 248 to 91 to close the Israeli Embassy in Pretoria and suspend diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv. But there has been no action from the Executive. We therefore call on President Ramphosa and Minister Lamola to cut off all diplomatic ties, including shutting the embassy. There can be no ‘normal’ relations with a genocidal and apartheid regime. මට හිතෙන විදියට ලස්සන සාපේක්ෂයි. එකිනෙකා දකින , සිතන සහ එකිනෙකාට දැනෙන හැටියට ලස්සන  නිර්වචනය වෙයි.   වරක් අප්‍රිකානු කතක් ලෝක රූ රැජින තරඟයකින් ජය ගැනීම ගැන එම තරඟයට සහභාගී වූ සෙසු තරඟකාරීනීයන්ට වඩා විස්ෂෝප වූයේ ඇතැම් ලංකාවේ ගැහැණුන් යැයි මට මතකයක් ඇත.  එසේ වුයෙ රූමත් බව පිලිබද එවුන්ගේ පැන්ටසියට ඇය නොගැලපෙන නිසා විය හැක. අදුරු සම් තියෙන බොහෝ අය තමන්ට තමන්වත් හදුනාගැනීමට නොහැකිවන සේ පොටෝ එඩිට් කරන්නේ ඒ පැන්ටසිය නිසාය. එහි වරදක් නැත . ඒවා ඉතා අවිහිංසක ආශාවන් වෙයි. පාර්ලිමේන්තු මංත්‍රී වරියකට මංත්‍රී වරයකු කැත ගැහැණියක් යැයි කීම අරබයා අගමැතිනිය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ බොහෝ දේ කියනු ඇසුනි.  කිසිවෙකුට ඔහුගේ හෝ ඇයගේ බාහිර පෙනුම උපහාසයට හෝ අපහාසයට ලක්කිරීමේ අයිතියක් නැත. එවැනි දෙයකින් අනෙකාගේ අයිතීන් උල්ලංඝනය වන්නේය. එසේම කැත යන්න්නද සාපේක්ෂය.&nbs...

9.13 100번째 팔레스타인 연대 집회. 지금까지 불가피하게  한두 번 빼고 집회를 다 참석했는데, 우리는 지치지 않았다는 것을 확실히 느낀 집회였다. 이스라엘과 미국의 폭력은 때로 우리를 지치게 하지만, 우리는 서로를 다독이며 지금까지 행동을 발전시켰다. 우리의 노력은 수많은 사람들이 팔레스타인 문제의 진실에 눈뜨게 만들었다. 이번 100차 집회에서 그런 점을 많이 느꼈다. 행진 시작부터 끝날 때까지 이어진 거리 사람들의 호응. 특히 삼삼오오 행진에 합류하는 사람들이 끊기지 않았다. 나눠줄 팻말이 모자랐을 정도.  전쟁에 맞서 우리의 저항은 계속 된다. #팔레스타인

벌써 100차 집회다. 아직도 2년 전 첫 집회가 기억난다. 서방 국가들과 무수한 언론이 하마스의 '만행'을 규탄할 때, 진보•좌파를 표방한 많은 이들이 그런 '여론'의 눈치를 볼 때, 하마스의 정당한 민족해방 투쟁을 단호히 옹호한 사람들이 첫 집회를 열었다. 그랬기에 그 때 함께 운동을 시작한 팔레스타인인들과 아랍인들, 다양한 이주 배경의 사람들, 한국인들이 지금까지도 함께 하는 거라고 생각한다. 전쟁은 끔찍하지만, 새로운 급진화와 저항의 네트워크를 우리에게 남겼다. 아직 전쟁은 지속되고 있고, 우리도 저항을 더 끈질기게 지속해야 한다. 100차 집회에 많은 참가를! #팔레스타인 #palestine
