집회 사전에 대림역 출구들에서 집회를 알리는 홍보전을 했다. 특히 극우가 집회로 가기 위해 나오는 11번 출구에서는 여러 명이 시위성 홍보전을 했다. 극우 한두 명이 와서 항의했다. 우리 행동이 극우 집회 참가자들을 위축시켰기 때문이었을 것이다. 집회는 시간이 갈수록 대열이 불었다. 특히 지역 주민들의 참가가 매우 인상적이었다. 경찰이 집회를 옆에서 지켜보는 주민들을 자꾸 지나가게 만들었지만, 많은 주민들이 대열에 들어오거나 근처에서 떠나지 않았다. 결국 경찰은 넘치는 대열에 차도 일부를 열었다. 행진이 시작되자 대열은 더 불었다. 급하게 친구들을 불러 참가한 주민도 있었다. 행진 대열에 박수를 보내는 행인들, 식당에서 밥 먹다가 환영 표시를 하는 주민들의…
