Vijay Prashad is a leading Journalist, Marxist Historian and Director of Tricontinental: Institute of Social Research. He is widely followed critic of Capitalism and campaigner of Socialism. On February 2023, he was invited in central office of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) by the Party School Department during his visit to Nepal. Comrade Pramesh Hamal, Vice Chairman & Head of Party School Department, Comrade Ashesh Ghimire, Central Committee Member & Secretary of the Party School Department along with other leaders of CPN(Unified Socialist) welcomed him at Party Central office and had few conversation. In this short video, he has well articulated the importance of people’s struggle and how these experiences contribute in making of emancipatory theory. He has focussed on how important is to take part in battle of ideas for a revolutionary in current situation, where left are facing multidimensional attacks.
