By Jaya Pathmapani on June 24, 2024 1. මැතිවරණ ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය පිළිබඳ වර්ධනය වන අතෘප්තිය සහ ‘සිස්ටම් චේන්ජ්’ ඉල්ලීම පරමාදර්ශී ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී අභිලාෂ ප්‍රායෝගික ව සාක්ෂාත් කරගැනීමට නො හැකිවීම නිසා ඇතිවෙන කලකිරීම හේතු කොට ගෙනමැතිවරණ ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය පිළිබඳ මහජන විශ්වාසය විශාල වසයෙන් පළුදු වී තිබේ. අල්ලස හා දූෂණය, නියෝජන ඌනතා, ජනමාධ්‍ය දුෂ්චර්යාව, බෙදුම්කාරී ජනවාර්ගික හා ආගමිකධ්‍රැවීකරණය, තේරී පත්වන නියෝජිතයන්ගේ විෂමාචාරය සහ දේශපාලන ප්‍රභූ පැලැන්තියක නිරන්තර ආධිපත්‍යය ඇතුළු ආවේණික දෝෂවලින් සාම්ප්‍රදායික මැතිවරණ දේශපාලනය විකෘත වී තිබේ. මැතිවරණ ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය මගින් ජනතා අභිලාෂ නියෝජන. නොවන බව අත්දැකීමෙන් ම දන්නා නිසා මහජනයා තුල සැලකිය යුතු දේශපාලන විසංයෝජනයක් ඇතිව තිබේ. එනිසා හැම මැතිවරණයක්මෙන්ම මේමැතිවරණය ද ඔවුන් වැඩි වසයෙන් යොදා ගන්නේ ම දැන් සිටින පාලන කල්ලියෙන් මිදීම කිසියම් අස්වැසිල්ලක් ගෙන එ්මට හේතු වනු ඇතැ’යි යන උද්යෝගිමත් බලාපොරොත්තුවෙනි. එහෙත් මේ මැතිවරණය වඩාත් විශේෂිත වන්නේ එය පවත්වන්නේ නිදහස ලැබීමෙන් පසුව ලංකාවේ ඇතිවූ විශාලතම දේශපාලන සංසිද්ධිය වන ‘අරගලයෙන්’ උද්දීපනය වූ බලාපොරොත්තු ද සමගවන බැවිනි. ජනාධිපතිවරණයක දී බහුතර ඡන්දයෙන් පත් ව සිය බලාපොරොත්තු සුන් කර දැමූ ජනාධිපතිවරයෙකු පන්නා දැමීමට පෙර නොවූ විරූ අන්දමින් මහ පාරට බට මහජනතාවගේ ඒකමතික ඉල්ලීම වූයේ ‘මේ ඇති, පවතින ක්‍රමය වෙනස් කිරීම හෙවත් ‘සිස්ටම් චේන්ජ් ‘කළ…
