Brussels 16 March 2022 – The International Federation of Journalists joins Media Freedom Rapid Response (MFRR) partners in calling on European Union Member States to set a global example of support for media freedom in crisis by extending emergency shelter and visa exemption to Russian journalists fleeing the country, as well as to Belarusian journalists seeking refuge from war and repression.
