On this International Workers’ Day, we honour the struggles and achievements of workers across the globe who have fought tirelessly for fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity in labour. May Day is not just a celebration of past victories but a call to action for the ongoing fight against exploitation, inequality, and oppression in workplaces worldwide.
In 2025, workers continue to face immense challenges—from rising automation and precarious gig economy jobs to union suppression and wage stagnation. In many countries, labour rights are under attack, with governments and corporations undermining collective bargaining, workplace safety, and social protections. Meanwhile, millions still labour in informal sectors without basic rights or security.
Yet, the spirit of solidarity endures. From strikes demanding living wages to movements for climate justice that recognize the link between workers’ rights and a sustainable future, the labour movement remains a powerful force for change. We stand with all workers—migrant labourers, domestic workers, factory employees, farmers, and essential workers—who keep our societies running yet are too often undervalued.

This May Day, we reaffirm our commitment to:
✔ **Fair Wages & Job Security** – No worker should live in poverty while corporations profit.
✔ **Safe & Just Working Conditions** – Every job must guarantee dignity and protection.
✔ **Union Rights & Collective Bargaining** – Suppressing unions suppresses democracy.
✔ **Global Solidarity** – Workers’ struggles are interconnected across borders.
The fight for economic justice is far from over. Let us organize, mobilize, and demand a world where labour is valued over greed.
**In solidarity,**
