Comrade Anil Chaudhary is no more. His Struggle Lives On

It is with profound grief and deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Comrade Anil Chaudhary—a dedicated people’s educator, an activist, and a tireless warrior for social and economic justice. After bravely fighting for over a week on ventilator support following a severe heart attack, he breathed his last at Fortis Hospital, Gurugram.

Anil ji was a guiding light for the NATIONAL HAWKER FEDERATION and countless people’s movements across the country. For over four decades, he played a pivotal role in strengthening the struggle for land rights, amplifying the voices of the marginalized, and resisting neoliberal exploitation and state repression. His political clarity, incisive analysis, and courage in speaking truth to power made him a beloved comrade and a revered figure in grassroots movements.

Until his last breath, he remained steadfast in his commitment to democratic values, social justice, and the fight for an egalitarian society. At a time when people’s movements face escalating repression, his loss is both deeply personal and profoundly political.

On behalf of NATIONAL HAWKER FEDERATION, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fellow comrades. As we grieve this irreplaceable loss, we also reaffirm our pledge to carry forward the struggles he led with such passion and conviction.

Comrade Anil Chaudhary,

Your legacy will forever inspire resistance.

With Regards

NATIONAL HAWKER FEDERATION
