ଉତ୍କଳ ଗୌରବ ମଧୁସୁଦନ ଦାସଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମବାର୍ଷିକୀ ରେ ଗଭୀର ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଜଣାଉଛୁ। ସେ ୧୮୪୮ ମସିହା ଏପ୍ରିଲ ୨୮ ତାରିଖରେ କଟକ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ସତ୍ୟଭାମାପୁର ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଜନ୍ମଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଚୌଧୁରୀ ରଘୁନାଥ ଦାସ ଏବଂ ମାତା ପାର୍ବତୀ ଦେବୀ ଥିଲେ। ମଧୁସୁଦନ କଲିକତା ବିଶ୍ଵବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରୁ ଆଇନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ସମାପ୍ତ କରି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପ୍ରଥମ ଆଇନଜ୍ଞ ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେ ଜଣେ କୁଶଳୀ ଓକିଲ, ସାମାଜିକ ସଂସ୍କାରକ, ଶିକ୍ଷାବିତ୍, ଔଦ୍ୟୋଗିକ ନେତା ଏବଂ ସ୍ଵାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ ଥିଲେ।

About Our Aim

The Commune, we hope, will contribute to creating an atmosphere for mutual understanding of issues encountered by the activists at the grass-roots level in particular contexts of the peoples’ struggles in a spirit of solidarity.

ஒன்றுபட்ட மக்களின் கவனத்திற்குரிய போராட்ட உணர்வுடன் செயற்படும் அடிமட்ட செயற்பாட்டாளர்கள், தாங்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சனைகளைப் பரஸ்பரம் அவர்கள் தங்களிடையே புரிந்து கொள்வதற்கான ஒரு சூழ்நிலையை இந்த கொம்யூன் ஏற்படுத்தும் என நம்புகிறோம்.

'Who we are'

The Asia Commune is an anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian, non-elitist and egalitarian community of progressive social, political, environmental and cultural activists who stand for freedom, democracy, social justice and equality for the oppressed, exploited and discriminated peoples of Asia. We stand in solidarity with the peoples’ struggles against all forms of oppression, exploitation and discrimination: for the Commune, there is no hierarchical order of peoples’ struggles; we give each and every struggle of the oppressed, exploited and discriminated peoples equal recognition.

The objective of the Commune is to provide a platform for progressive and radical social, political, environmental and cultural activists to share their experiences and perspectives for discourse and gain insights into their practices.
