Seminar on promote eco-friendliness among the youth.

Iqra University is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030. The purpose of this seminar is to further promote eco-friendliness among the youth. These views were expressed by Dr. Shams Hamid, Dean, Social Sciences, University of Karachi, while addressing a seminar on “World Environment Day” held at North Karachi Campus. “Our university is redesigning its curriculum, teaching methods, assessment methods and university policies to overcome the environmental challenges that the world is facing today due to human activities,” he said. Collective efforts are desperately needed in all regions of the world to achieve this and thus play an important role in creating a conducive environment.

Director Iqra University North Campus Dr. Ali Raza said that education of youth to raise awareness in the society. It is very important to win and I am happy that the young students of our university are working tirelessly for the betterment of the environment which is very welcome. I appreciate the efforts of the young students of the Ethics and Social Responsibility course and hope that these young people will continue their work for the betterment of the lives of the backward areas. Khatani was also present. The event was attended by a large number of young students studying at Iqra University and others and various projects were exhibited. There were also open mic sessions and musical concerts for the students.
