They demanded:
- Rajapaksa Regime to go home
- The Socialists left should be united with Tamil & Muslim working class and oppressed people in Sri Lanka.
- To build up solidarity with the people of North & East ensuring the right of self-determination of oppressed minorities and up country tea estate workers.
- To establish a political campaign to build solidarity with South Asian Socialists, working class and farmers and with the liberation movement of women.
- To unite all the trade unions and call upon a General Strike all over the country demanding the present government to step down and give the power back to the people.
- And set up political power with workers committees in work places and factories, Police & Army brakes, Co-operatives, Universities and within farmer communities.
- To estabilise a provincial government with working class, farmers, all oppressed communities and with student movements in Sri Lanka.
