Although commune is a French word, it has a political and philosophical significance. In the eighteenth century, the great Karl Marx used the word “commune” in his various writings. In the European countries of the eighteenth century, political-economic and social changes took place. Marx has closely observed the changes in England, Germany and France. Marx’s thought was deeply influenced by the economic and political changes that took place in different countries of the eighteenth-century in Europe. During this time Marx wrote a manuscript on his philosophy of economics, taking into account three aspects of European society. That is, the class struggle in France, the economics of England, and the philosophy of Germany. At that time, in various countries of Europe, the monarchy of the central government was associated with the conflict between the aristocracy and the growing middle class, the monarchical war revolts and mercantile capital. This war is a hindrance to the development of the dictatorship and the liberal thinking of the people in the pursuit of industrial reform.
However, in the second half of the eighteenth century, the Industrial Revolution in America civil war, France and England shattered the ancient ideas of Europe. The American War of Independence later overthrew the colonial mercenary structure and established a democratic republic. The French Revolution of 179 shattered the old state structure. The state system of the people was established. Which is historically known as the “Pari Commune” although this state system of the people’s state did not last longer.
But in this century the Industrial Revolution took place in Europe-America. The industrialist economy was established instead of the merchant economy. At this time, the demand for democratic election system arose in politics. In European countries, democratic republics were established instead of monarchies. A movement-oriented radical society was formed. Many are inspired by the new type of “Paris Commune” state system in France that dominates the thinking of the common people. At the same time, considering the new economic, political and social realities of Europe, Marx-Engels wrote the “Communist Manifesto” in 1848, the main slogan of which was “Workers of the world unite.”
Commune is a French word meaning to live together. Especially people living together with the same political philosophy, thoughts and actions. This is called a commune. “Asia Commune” is a collective platform of the people of the Asian continent. “Creating a non-discriminatory, egalitarian democratic way of life” for the people of the region, taking into account the diverse life forms and views of the people of the region. To this end, the struggle to build an egalitarian democratic society for people of all walks of life in the region continues. People from all walks of life on the Asian continent are being urged to unite in this effort. The Asian Commune firmly believes that only working people can build a democratic and egalitarian society. Everyone is urged to join this initiative. Long live working Class Solidarity.
